Community Service and Leadership
Participating in community service and leadership activities can be beneficial. Students who get involved can expect possible rewards for their extracurricular work, including: work and life experiences, connections, and a broader worldview. Many scholarships are starting to emphasize service and leadership participation. The donors/corporations are seeking to award money to students who have been active and reliable at school and community. They want to reward students who are willing to work and make the world a better place. Documentation should begin at the start of the student's freshman year.
