The girl’s basketball team started off their season with a loss to Marion on November. The Lady Bulldogs come up with another loss to Lyndon.  The Lady Bulldogs pulled off their first win against Flinthills on Dec. 7.  They had a better shooting average than in their previous games that helped them grab their first victory.

“I was very happy to win against Flinthills, because we had a rough season last year and didn’t get as many wins as we wanted. Winning a game early was an awesome feeling to the whole team,” sophomore Ashley C. said.

Dec. 14, the team traveled to Olpe. The team faced a tough opponent and came up with another loss 70-32.

On Dec. 18 the team came up with another close win against Waverly, 33-30. The team worked hard and fought together to receive the win.

The team goes into Christmas Break with a 2-3 record. Over break they will work to improve on their skills and come back after break to travel to Madison and play on Jan. 4.
