I am a Nebraska native. I earned my BS in Education at Chadron State College in Chadron, Neb. and my MS in Special Education Behavior Disorders from Emporia State University. This is my 12th year in education. I am currently teaching fourth grade. I love teaching and being around kids because no matter what happens in their lives they are always happy, curious, eager, and caring. It is my goal that I continue to instill a love of learning as they continue through their academic career. It is my goal to be a knowledgeable and entertaining teacher to ensure the kids continue to be engaged, curious and eager learners. It is my hope that my students leave my classroom at the end of the year with goals of their own, understanding of tolerance and the desire to be courteous to those around them.

I am a Kansas native. I earned my BS in Education at Kansas State University in 1992. This is my 16th year in education, 15 of those years teaching third grade here in Chase County. I am currently teaching fourth grade and thoroughly enjoy the group of kids I have. It is my goal to provide an atmosphere where the students have fun and are able to acquire the knowledge they need to be successful. I stress that it’s okay to make mistakes, as long as we learn from them. I also strive to ensure that students are respectful and tolerant of each other.
