MOODLE
Students in 5th & 6th Grade have been MOODLE-ing all year. MOODLE is a free program that allows teachers to facilitate learning using technology. Working from a class website, students complete assignments online, take quizzes, research, and so much more. Small laptops have almost entirely replaced paper which is cost saving and empowering for students. They have become confident with modern technology and some have even had the opportunity to teach adults from another school about what they have learned. Discipline problems have been almost entirely eliminated. Stop by to see learning in action, or ask a CCMS 5th or 6th grader for a first hand account of their experience!
