I am currently in my 13th year of teaching. I started out teaching Title 1 Reading and kindergarten. Then I moved to the middle school level for eight years. I am happy to be back to the excitement of learning at the kindergarten level. I have the most rewarding and refreshing job in the school.

I have been teaching at Chase County Elementary School for 19 years. I began as a kindergarten teacher for one year and then moved to second grade for three years. I then taught a Kindergarten Intervention program for two years and then second grade again for another three years. I moved back to kindergarten 10 years ago and am very happy to still be here! Kindergarten is a fun and exciting time in a child's life. The students grow so much in a year’s time and they all become a special part of my life. I love watching "my kids" graduate from high school many years later.
