The option for remote learning is for students who are in quarantine, isolation, too ill to participate in the in-person learning module or choosing to self-isolate. Remote learning will not be an option for those who aren’t dealing with COVID-19 situations, long term illness or extenuating circumstances. The ability to choose remote learning on a day-to-day basis will no longer be an option. If remote learning is chosen and not ordered (i.e. by public health or healthcare provider), then that student will be in the remote learning module for the rest of the semester. Any student participating in remote learning is unable to participate in any extracurricular activities. Please contact your building principal with any questions or concerns. Students can still be absent a day or two for a “normal” illness.
HS Forensics, there is a possibility for a meet "in" Abilene. Events are pre-recorded and draw events and finals are in person. If you are interested, please let me know so I can find out more information and if it is worth looking into. Thank you, Mrs. Hansford.
