Special Olympics students walk up.

This year's theme was "This is Me".  The students were allowed to participate in 4 different events.  Taverli McCorgary helped design and make the Chase County shirts this year.  This year we went with a "taco" theme on our shirts celebrating Cinco De Mayo.

Hunter McCorgary participated in Mini Javelin placing 1st, Softball throw placing 1st, Running Long jump placing 1st and 200 meter dash placing 3rd.  The 200 meter was a close race with Hunter leaning at the end and falling through the finish line.
Taverli McCorgary participated in Standing Long Jump placing 1st, 50 meter walk placing 2nd, 100m walk placing 3rd, and softball throw placing 4th.
George Swift participated in softball throw placing 1st, frisbee placing 1st, 50 meter run placing 2nd, and 3rd in the 100 meter run.
We had some great coaches this year: Aiden Eidman, Taylor Palenske, Cal Kohlmier, Mitch Budke, and Cooper Schroer. As well as other sponsor Dusty Hazelton and bus driver Tony Hazelton.
