
Just a quick reminder that USD 284 does not have school scheduled for tomorrow (Monday, January 6) due to a professional development day. School will resume Tuesday, Jan. 7.

The football awards banquet scheduled for tomorrow evening will be rescheduled when the 8-man All-Star selection is complete.

The JH basketball teams return to action the first week back from break with three home games. They will play
Monday, Jan. 6 here vs. Osage City (4:30 pm),
Tuesday, Jan. 7 here vs. Cair Paravel (4:30 pm),
and Thursday, Jan. 9 here vs. Lyndon (4:30 pm).
The game with Cair Paravel is a calendar change.

JH BB Update:
Tuesday, Jan. 7, the JH Bb teams will host Cair Paravel here starting at 4:30. Due to official shortage, we will only be in one gym. We will play 1/2 B girls, 1/2 B boys, A girls, and then A boys.

HS Girls BB Schedule Change:
The high school girls basketball team will NOT play on Tuesday, Jan. 28 vs. Peabody. Instead, the team will play on Friday, Jan. 31 @ Herington at 6 pm.

HS Wrestling Schedule Change:
The Herington Wrestling Tournament has been split into two days. The girls will wrestle on Friday, Jan. 10, starting at 4:00. The boys will wrestle on Saturday, Jan. 11, starting at 9:30 am.

HS Wrestling practice resumes tomorrow at 4. Schedule for the week; Monday 4, Wednesday at 8:00 am and Friday at 4:00 pm.

Chase County USD 284 Retirement Announcement
Chase County USD 284 would like to congratulate Bernice Albers (36 years), Teresa Talkington (28 years), and Glenna Grinstead (6 years with USD 284) on their upcoming retirements at the end of this school year.

The high school basketball teams faced Rural Vista this evening. The girls headed home with a 58-40 win while the boys lost 45-54.

The JH Basketball teams will be traveling to Mission Valley on Saturday, Dec. 14 for a B Team Tournament. Action starts with the Girls team at 9 am.


Please join us for the CCES Christmas program "Chase County's Got Talent"! Tomorrow - Friday, Dec. 13th at 7 p.m. in the CCES Gym. Doors open at 6:30.

The high school wrestling team hosts the Bulldog Jamboree tomorrow at 4 pm. Come watch the wrestlers in the home action.
The only other home action will be the home tournament on Saturday, Dec. 21, starting at 9:30 am. This is a date change for the home tournament (compared to when it has been held in the past)! Parents' Night will also be held on Dec. 21.
