High School Football Change
Due to lack of officials, Colony-Crest had to change Friday night's game to Thursday, September 8 with a 7 o'clock kickoff. Please help us spread the word.
The JH football team will be playing tomorrow at Susan B. Anthony in Manhattan vs. Clifton-Clyde. The start time had been CHANGED to 5 pm.
Congratulations to the cross country team! The men’s team, Cooper Schroer, Silus Hernandez, Tate Morgan, Bryson Koch and Taylor Palenske, placed 5th out of 9 teams. This is the first men's team to score since 2015! Schroer medaled 5th with a time of 18:55. Hernandez medaled 6th with a time of 19:13. Kinslea Glanville medaled 10th with a time of 25:26. Joey Swift had a great run placing 5th and running 1:50 faster than last year at Mission Valley.

HS Football Streaming
Frankfort High School will be streaming the football game via the NFHS site. If you receive notification it is streamed anywhere else, that is NOT correct. The NFHS site does require a subscription.

Attention CCES Families: We are excited to get our Watch D.O.G.S. (Dads of Great Students) program back up and running this year. This meeting will give an overview of the program, its purpose and objectives, and volunteer requirements. Volunteers will also choose their day(s) to volunteer at CCES. Your child is bringing home an RSVP form for our Volunteer information meeting. Pizza will be provided, so please fill out the bottom portion of the form and return it tomorrow, August 30, so that we can order enough pizza. The meeting is August 31st, 6:30PM to 7:30PM at CCES.

Lady Bulldogs @ Peabody-Burns Tournament Runner-up
The Lady Bulldogs went to the championship game at the Peabody-Burns tournament today. They fought hard, taking it to 3, but came up short on the win. They are headed home with 2nd place! Congratulations, Lady Bulldogs! Proud of your grit and determination today!
The JH Dance location has been changed to the CCJSHS Storm Shelter. Please enter the building using the east doors beside the shelter. Doors will open at 7:45 pm tomorrow (Saturday, Aug. 27).
HS Football Jamboree. We will be hosting a 4 team football jamboree on Friday, Aug. 26. The teams attending will be Canton-Galva, South Haven/Caldwell, Wichita County, and Chase County. They will play 10 plays of offense and defense per session with at least a 10 min break in between. The schedule is:
6:30-6:50 Canton Galva vs Chase County North end
SH/CHS vs Wichita County South end
7:00-7:20 Chase County vs Wichita County North end
SH/CHS vs Canton Galva South end
7:30-7:50 Canton Galva vs Wichita County North end

HS JV Football @ Burlingame on Sept. 26 - Start time has been moved to 5 pm rather than 6 pm.
Calendar Change: The high school JV football game here with Frankfort on Tuesday, Sept. 6 is cancelled. They will play a 5th quarter after the high school football game on Friday, Sept. 2.
