Attention CCES Families: We are excited to get our Watch D.O.G.S. (Dads of Great Students) program back up and running this year. This meeting will give an overview of the program, its purpose and objectives, and volunteer requirements. Volunteers will also choose their day(s) to volunteer at CCES. Your child is bringing home an RSVP form for our Volunteer information meeting. Pizza will be provided, so please fill out the bottom portion of the form and return it tomorrow, August 30, so that we can order enough pizza. The meeting is August 31st, 6:30PM to 7:30PM at CCES.

Lady Bulldogs @ Peabody-Burns Tournament Runner-up
The Lady Bulldogs went to the championship game at the Peabody-Burns tournament today. They fought hard, taking it to 3, but came up short on the win. They are headed home with 2nd place! Congratulations, Lady Bulldogs! Proud of your grit and determination today!
The JH Dance location has been changed to the CCJSHS Storm Shelter. Please enter the building using the east doors beside the shelter. Doors will open at 7:45 pm tomorrow (Saturday, Aug. 27).
HS Football Jamboree. We will be hosting a 4 team football jamboree on Friday, Aug. 26. The teams attending will be Canton-Galva, South Haven/Caldwell, Wichita County, and Chase County. They will play 10 plays of offense and defense per session with at least a 10 min break in between. The schedule is:
6:30-6:50 Canton Galva vs Chase County North end
SH/CHS vs Wichita County South end
7:00-7:20 Chase County vs Wichita County North end
SH/CHS vs Canton Galva South end

Youth football will be having sign up and equipment fitting on Monday, August 15 at 5 pm in the parking lot of Ron Mayo field. The total price for football is $40. Calendar Correction:
We will have school on Feb. 6. The calendar states there is no school on Feb. 6, 2023, but we WILL HAVE school on that date.
The 7-12 All Sports Athletic Meeting is Thursday @ 6 pm. Everyone will need to enter through the main doors at CCJSHS in order to sign in. Students must sign in for documentation on concussion video. Please check with Brenda Wessel upon entry to make sure that all physical and athletic paperwork are complete. Students then need to report to the auditorium for the concussion video. Parents report to the following:

Due to unforeseen circumstances, USD 284 is in need of a full-time bus driver for the Cedar Point route. Applicants must have a CDL with an S and P endorsement. We still have quite a few enrollment packets that need to be picked up. The packets are available in the CCJSHS front door entryway 7 am to 6 pm. Please pick your family packet up before coming in to enrollment. It helps to have the paperwork filled out before enrollment.
Enrollment is tomorrow (Tuesday) 3-7 pm and Wednesday 7-11 am. Bring all your completed paperwork.
Please bring any completed physicals to enrollment. Please double check that the physicals are signed correctly. 7-12 students who plan to participate in fall sports must have completed physicals (including signatures) prior to practicing starting Monday, Aug. 15.
