Water has been restored, but we are under a boil advisory for the next few days. At this time, we ARE planning to have school tomorrow and will host the high school football game tomorrow night. Please send your student with a full water bottle. We will have water bottle available throughout the day. No changes to the breakfast and lunch menus at this time.
Just a quick reminder that Chase County Schools will not have school today (Thursday, Sept. 15) due to the water line break.
A large water main has broken affecting the water in both Strong City and Cottonwood Falls. Reports are that this will take some time to fix especially in Cottonwood Falls and we have been told that there will be not water tomorrow. Therefore, we will NOT have school tomorrow, Thursday, Sept. 15. The JH Volleyball team will still travel to their games as will the Cross Country teams. The High School Volleyball C Quad is cancelled. We will update you on the Spirit Clinic tomorrow in the early afternoon.

We have a slight change in the USD 284 BOE meeting for Wednesday, Sept. 14. The meeting will start a 6:00 pm with a tour of the CCJSHS followed by the regularly scheduled meeting at 7:00 pm. Community members are welcome to attend.
The Lady Bulldogs traveled to the Flinthills tournament today. They made it out of pool play and placed fourth. Nice job, ladies!
