COVID Informational Fact #10 The vaccination is not stopping you from getting COVID. It will help reduce the likelihood of hospitalization and the severity of the symptoms. There are breakthrough cases. People who are vaccinated can get and pass on COVID. Children age 12+ are able to get the vaccine if the parent chooses. The companies are currently working to gain approval for students ages 5-11. The district does not require the vaccine for its employees or its students. This is a personal choice for each family.
