HS BB Tuesday, Jan. 11 @ Council Grove 4:30 pm
Council Grove currently has a mask mandate. All individuals that are not participating must wear a mask. Players and officials will not need to wear a mask while on the court. Spectators will need a mask to enter the building.
As part of our ESSER III funding from the federal government, the district needs to survey the community, school staff, and students on various topics as we plan for the spending.

Some have reported issues with USD 284 app. We reported those issue to the company and they let us know that an update is now available. You can download the update or delete/reinstall the app. Search Chase County USD 284, KS in your app store.
USD 284 Chase County is offering the metal frame for an 18 x 40 metal carport building. 9 upright supports are included. The outside metal is not included. It only includes the frame. If you have questions, please contact Glenna Grinstead at 620-273-6303.

The Board of Education Meeting scheduled for Wednesday, January 12, 2022, will start at 6:00 pm (instead of 7 pm) to accommodate the district's auditor's schedule. The meeting will be at the district office.

Due to the extreme weather conditions, athletic practices are being cancelled and students are being sent home. Junior high parents, please come get your child or contact the coaches if you make other arrangements.
The junior high and high school Christmas program that was scheduled for tonight is cancelled. We will work to find a time for the performance.
The CCJSHS Winter Music Concert will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 15 at 5 pm in the auditorium.
Good Afternoon- With HS having basketball games at home tonight the JH Boys will be practicing at CCES. The JH boys basketball players will ride bus to grade school after school. Practice will be done at 6pm. Parents please pickup at CCES.

Chase County Junior High and High School KAY clubs were awarded with the Gold Award for the 2020 - 2021 school year to recognize their leadership and service to their school, community, nation and world. There are numerous requirements that must be met to achieve the Gold Award. Some of these requirements include: receiving 1000 points in all four service areas, sending a member to KAY Leadership Camp, attending regional and unit conferences, holding regular meetings, and participating in a service program. The Chase County KAY clubs have a long tradition of service with the junior high club receiving a Gold Award every year since 2007 and the high school has received the Gold Award all years but two since 1988.
