
Weather is projected to move in around the time practices end and Voices students will be traveling to Elmdale. As a result, we are cancelling all after school activities including after school tutoring, junior high practices, and the Voices trip to Elmdale. Additionally, Kids Club is cancelled for today. Today, Chase County hosted Reality U for our 8th and 10th grade students. LeRoy-Gridley also attended. Reality U is a financial simulation where students learn what it is like to make a paycheck last for the month with bills, families, and extra expenses. @realityuks











Chase County will host Sedan on Thursday, Oct. 31. The game will start at 6 pm. This is a different time than usual!

FBLA is hosting a Red Cross Blood Drive, and we’re calling on everyone to join us in making a life-saving impact!

Parent-Teacher Conferences and Advisory start tonight! 4-8 pm today and 4-8 pm on Tuesday. Tonight is also the HS Senior FAFSA Completion Night 5:30-7:30. We hope to see everyone at your scheduled time!

The FAFSA Informational meeting will begin at 5:30pm Thursday, October 24 in the CCJSHS band room.. All seniors and their parent/guardian are encouraged to attend. Please bring a device and social security number for both parent/guardian and student. You will need these to create your FSA ID.

The high school Regional Cross Country is at Marion on Saturday, Oct. 26. The 2A girls race will start at 10:00 am. The 2A boys will start at 11:10 am. The top 15 runners and top 3 teams qualify for state!
It is a 2A and 4A regional so plan accordingly with parking. Fan parking is available in the open lot on the west side of the road (across from the stadium) and down by the softball/baseball fields.

No School on Monday, Oct. 21 due to a Professional Day.


The JH Volleyball League Tournament is Saturday, Oct. 19. Action starts at 9 am with Chase County facing Lyndon in Match 1 in the high school gym. Here is the corrected pool play and bracket play information.


On Monday, Oct. 21, we will host the high school volleyball regionals starting at 5 pm. Bennington, Marion, and Sacred Heart will be joining us in pool play. The top two teams will head to substate on Saturday, Oct. 26.

The cross country and football parents' night and senior recognition will take place Friday at the home football game vs Northern Heights. The ceremony will begin at 6:40 pm. Parents, seniors, coaches, and coach's families, please report to the north end of the football field by 6:30 pm.

HS FB Update:
The JV football @ Northern Heights on Monday, Oct. 21 will start at 5 pm! This is a time change.

The volleyball parent's night and senior recognition will take place this evening in the south gym between the JV and 2nd Varsity games.
