Newman Regional Health Medical Partners Orthopedics and Sports Medicine will host
an Injury Clinic every Saturday this fall, through November 2nd . Check-in is from 7:45-
8:45; athletes will be seen in the order they check in. This clinic is available for any
middle or high school fall sport athletes. If further care is needed, such as x-ray, those
services will need to be approved by the parent/guardian and will be submitted to
insurance. Concussions will not be evaluated at this clinic. Please use the Hospital’s
Main Entrance (C) and follow the signs to suite 105. Any questions can be directed to

Cross Country Update:
If you are traveling to the meet in Lyndon on Thursday, there is some construction northbound on Hwy 75 from I-35. Lyndon is also informing us that there is a a crew paving the roads around the Melvern exit. Please plan accordingly. Thank you.
The free tickets to the Circus have been handed out to your student. The tickets have the WRONG show times listed. The correct times for the shows are 5:00 pm and 7:30 pm.

HS Football Update:
Friday, Sept. 13, the high school team travels to Wichita Independent for a 7 pm game. The game will be held at Wichita Independent's Panther Field, 8317 E , Douglas Ave, Wichita.
USD 284's Board Meeting will start at 6 pm Wednesday, Sept. 11 at CCJSHS. The Board will tour the building/facilities and then reconvene in the Board Office at 7 pm.

Upcoming JH Football Games Not on Calendar!
Dear Parents and Fans-
- **Monday, September 9th**: The JH football team will play at West Franklin at **5:30 PM**.
- **Thursday, September 12th**: We have a home game against Cair-Paravel at **6:30 PM**.
Additionally, we will hold a **walk-through practice** on **Sunday, September 8th, from 2:00-3:30 PM** for those players who are able to attend. This session will help us prepare for Monday's game.

The HS junior varsity football game at Little River on Monday, Sept. 9 has changed start times. The game will start at 5 pm.
The Lady Bulldogs traveled to Peabody today to start their season. Going into the championship game, they were undefeated. They won 25-8, 25-16, beating Solomon.
