HS VB Update:
The HS Volleyball team hosts Wabaunsee on Tuesday, Sept. 24. The games will only be in one gym starting at 5 pm. The order of play will be Varsity - JV - Varsity.
Cross Country Update:
Due to the projected heat tomorrow, the meet at Northern Heights will have a different start time. The schedule is as follows:
5:00 Jr. High girls
5:30 Jr. High boys
6:00 HS girls
6:30 HS boys
On Saturday, Sept. 21, the high school volleyball team will travel to Hartford to a tournament. Action starts at 9 am with pool play. The top two teams will advance out of pool play to bracket play.
The JH VB team will travel to Lyndon for a tournament on Saturday, Sept. 21. Pool play will start at 8:30 am followed by bracket play. The top two teams from each pool will go to bracket play.
The HS volleyball team won 2nd place in the Flinthills tournament today. They lost to Flinthills in the championship match.

Newman Regional Health Medical Partners Orthopedics and Sports Medicine will host
an Injury Clinic every Saturday this fall, through November 2nd . Check-in is from 7:45-
8:45; athletes will be seen in the order they check in. This clinic is available for any
middle or high school fall sport athletes. If further care is needed, such as x-ray, those
services will need to be approved by the parent/guardian and will be submitted to
insurance. Concussions will not be evaluated at this clinic. Please use the Hospital’s

If you are traveling to the meet in Lyndon on Thursday, there is some construction northbound on Hwy 75 from I-35. Lyndon is also informing us that there is a a crew paving the roads around the Melvern exit. Please plan accordingly. Thank you.

HS Football Update:
Friday, Sept. 13, the high school team travels to Wichita Independent for a 7 pm game. The game will be held at Wichita Independent's Panther Field, 8317 E , Douglas Ave, Wichita.
USD 284's Board Meeting will start at 6 pm Wednesday, Sept. 11 at CCJSHS. The Board will tour the building/facilities and then reconvene in the Board Office at 7 pm.
