37 junior high KAY members participated in the Walk-a-Thon to raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Together they raised $2675 with more donations still coming in! Thanks to the community for their support and to our youth for their great effort! They also took two breaks, making a craft to give to the individuals that come for lunch at the senior center and playing games.

Starting during the 2024-25 school year, the Flint Hills League will be changing. This school year will be our last year with Central Heights and Northern Heights as part of our league. Both schools have chosen to leave the league and join other leagues. To replace those two teams, Wabaunsee Junior and Senior High (Alma) and Cair Paravel Latin School (Topeka) will be joining the league. Again, this will start next school year.
