We want to inform you of the updated weather conditions from the National Weateher Service and, as a result, have decided to implement an early release for the safety of our students and staff.
Chase County Junior Senior High School will release students at 1:45 PM, and Chase County Elementary School will release at 2:00 PM. No Afternoon Pre-K today! There will be no practices today!

The Junior High basketball games scheduled for tonight have been canceled. The decision to remain in school has been made after consulting with the National Weather Service and local officials. Our primary concern is ensuring the safety of everyone involved.
The school will continue to closely monitor the situation and will provide updates as necessary. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation during these weather-related challenges. Please stay tuned for further announcements.

The JH basketball tournament has been moved to Thursday, Friday, and Saturday this week. On Thursday, the Girls will play in the NORTH gym at 3:00 pm and the Boys will play in Braves gym at 6:45 pm.
The high school basketball game at Lyndon that was scheduled for Friday, Jan. 5 has been moved to Thursday, Jan. 11. Start times will remain the same.
We will have school on Monday, Jan. 15. Makeup Day #1 will be used.
There will be no practices tonight. If your country student drove to school and you would like them dismissed early, please call the high school office.
Tonight's basketball games at Lyndon have been postponed. After driving the roads and talking to county officials, we are continuing the school day to allow road crews more time to clean roads. Road crews are actively working on both state and county highways.
Dan Meers, AKA KC Wolf (mascot for the Kansas City Chiefs), spoke to staff members today as part of the professional day. He also took the time to say hello and pose for a picture with a few of the junior high basketball girls who were practicing prior to their last regular season game tomorrow.
The JH basketball teams will start league tournament action at Council Grove on Monday, Jan. 8. The girls will play at 3:00 pm in the North Gym, and the boys will play at 6:45 in the Braves Gym. The girls have the first game of the day, but the boys will play a late game so please remember their time is approximate.
The HS girls basketball team built gingerbread houses at their party today. It looks like they had fun!

The high school varsity girls won their game against West Franklin. The varsity boys fought hard to come back but ended up losing their game by one.
Hs Football banquet will be January 7th at 6:00 pm in the HS auditorium.

The high wrestling tournament here on Saturday, Dec. 16 will start at 9 am instead of the 9:30 time on the calendar.
