The high school varsity girls bb team lost to Clifton-Clyde, 46-59.
Both the boys and girls B teams faced Mission Valley in the final games. Unfortunately, both teams are headed home with a loss.
The JH Boys B team won too. Both the girls and boys will play at 12:45ish.
The junior high B teams traveled to Council Grove for a small tournament today. The girls win their first game and will play at 12:45.
The CCJSHS basketball teams traveled to Herington this evening to face Rural Vista. The Varsity girls won 67-24. The JV boys lost 35-43. The JV girls lost 12-16. The varsity boys won 46-32.
After missing two days of school due to the water main break in October, we will use our first designated makeup day. We WILL HAVE school on Monday, January 15. I will remind you in January, but I wanted to let you know early as well.
I haven't heard scores, but the high school varsity girls, varsity boys, and JV boys won their basketball games this evening. The JV girls did not play. Congratulations, everyone! The teams play next on Friday at 4:00 and 5:30 va Rural Vista at Herington.

JH BB Update:
The boys and girls will be playing in a JV basketball tournament at Council Grove on Saturday, Dec. 9. The girls will play in the high school gym (address - 129 Hockaday), and the boys will play in the elementary gym (address - 706 E Main). The girls will start play at 9 am, and the boys will play at approximately 10:15. Each team will play one more game following that.
There will NOT be a concession stand at the Elementary School.

Clark Miller got 7th, Silus Hernandez got 5th, Brock Griffin got 3rd, and Micah Cauthers got 1st.

HS Basketball Update:
Here is the schedule for the high school pre-season tournament at Herington for Tuesday, Dec. 5-Saturday, Dec. 9.
We are combining all grades for one CCES Winter Concert. Monday, Dec. 11 will be the K-6 Winter Concert at 7 pm. There will NOT be a CCES Winter Concert on Friday, Dec. 8.

The JV girls will NOT be playing due to limited numbers on the Central Heights team.

HS girls basketball jamboree is tomorrow in Olpe. Start time is 5:20pm. Schedule as follows: -CC vs Burlington -Burlington vs Olpe -CC vs Olpe The format is three 4 minute quarters and one 5 minute period of running clock. The three 4 minute quarters will be varsity oriented and the 5 minute period will be geared towards JV. Everyone will play, but we will be trying out a few different rotations and groups. There will be no gate fee for anyone wanting to come and watch. We still have a lot of work to do, but tomorrow will be a great chance for us to practice against some different competition!
CCJSHS Music Concert tonight in the auditorium. Students need to be in the auditorium by 6. Doors open to the public at 6:30.
District SITE Council Meeting on Wednesday, Nov. 29 in the CCJSHS commons area @ 6 pm. Please feel free to join us.
Retake Picture Day is 11/30/2023!
If you're satisfied with your child's picture, no further action is required.
If you purchased and were unhappy with your Picture Package, please send your Picture Package to school with your student on Retake Day. Your Retake Picture Package will be produced and shipped to the school four weeks after Retake Day. Please note, if your child is photographed on the original and Retake Picture Days, the Retake picture will replace the original picture in certain products, like the yearbook.
