The HS volleyball team placed third at the Hartford Tournament. In bracket play, they lost to Mission Valley and then beat Hartford for third place.
The high school volleyball girls went undefeated in pool play to start the Hartford Tournament. They are starting bracket play now.

JH Football Update:
We will be traveling to Lyndon for JH football on Thursday, Sept. 21. the start time will be at 6:30 pm.
The JV football game vs Goessel on Monday, Sept. 18 has been moved to Goessel, starting at 6 pm. There will not be a concession stand, and you will not have to pay admission.

Board Meeting Time Change:
The USD 284 Board of Education meeting will start at 6:00 pm today with a facilities tour. The BOE will meet at CCJSHS at 6 pm before reconvening in the district office at 7 pm for the meeting.
USD 284 is accepting applications for the following positions:
District Bus Mechanic,
Bus drivers (including subs),
JH Asst. Girls Basketball Coach, and
JH Asst. Boys Basketball Coach.

HS Football Game Time Change:
On Friday, Sept. 29 we will travel to Maranatha Christian Academy. The start time of the game has been changed to 7:30 pm. An address for the football field will be provided closer to the game date.
JH Football Game Update:
Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2023: Game located at Warriors Football Field Boys and Girls Club of Wichita, 2400 N Opportunity Drive (just off 21st Street, north of WSU), Wichita. Entrance Gate is on the west side of the field. Gates open at 5 pm. Game starts at 6 pm. Ticket prices (cash only) $7 adults/$5 students (Family max $25 - must live in same home). Concessions available - cash only. Please be sure to lock your vehicles and do not leave valuables in them. A small set of bleachers are provided, but you are welcome to bring folding chairs.
