HS Football Update:
The JV game at Frankfort on Tuesday. Sept 5 has been cancelled.
The JH Football game on Tuesday, Sept. 5 has been moved to Hope High School in Hope starting at 7 pm. We are asking for three volunteers to work the chain gang. Volunteers would need to be there by 6:45 pm. If interested in volunteering for the chain gang, please contact Brenda Wessel at wesselb@usd284.org or 620-273-6303.
There will be a concessions stand at the game.
Attention CCES Families:
Our WatchDOGS volunteer meeting will be this Wednesday, August 30th, at 6:30 pm. Dads, grandpas, and uncles are invited to have some pizza and hear about the WatchDOGS organization and an opportunity to have a positive impact for our students this school year!
The junior high dance is tonight from 8-10 at the high school in the old gym. Parents, please sign your student in.

JH Football Update:
Location Change: The JH football game on Thursday, Aug. 31 will be AT Lyndon. We will play Lyndon at home on September 21.
7-12 Cross Country Update
Calendar Change: Cross Country at Mission Valley on August 31 will start at 4:30 pm. The calendar states 4:00, but it will start at 4:30 pm.
Rec 3rd-6th Grade Volleyball Forms are due by Friday, August 25th.
HS Football Update: Jamboree - Due to the heat, the Jamboree at Canton-Galva has been moved to Saturday, Aug. 26 at 10 am. ADMISSION: Bottle of Water (or) Bottle of a sports drink. If someone does not have that, gate price will be $5.00 to help offset the cost of officials. They will have Breakfast Burritos, Cinnamon Rolls, and Iced Coffee at the concession stand.
The first high school game on Sept. 1 will be held at home.
There will NOT be a JV football game on Tuesday, Sept. 5 due to lack of players at Frankfort.
Due to the projected heat forecast 4th,5th,6th grade football practice is cancelled for Tuesday 8/22!

USD 284 Is accepting applications for a school bus mechanic position. CDL is required. Training available to help with CDL (must be obtained before starting). Start date Dec. 1 to allow for on-the-job training. Position open until filled. Competitive salary and benefits available.
