Thursday, Oct. 29 HERE vs. Dexter/Cedar Vale: Fans are encouraged to social distance and wear masks when unable to social distance. You are also encouraged to bring your lawn chairs and sit around the track or on the south hill.

State Cross Country FAN UPDATE:
Attendance at state cross country is limited to 4 spectators/athlete, and those spectators must have a wristband to get in.
The KSHSAA will be livestreaming the state cross country meets at all three locations. Races can be viewed live at https://www.nfhsnetwork.com/associations/kshsaa.

Tonight's Spooky Concert has been moved to the North Gym.
The audience will be limited to 2 guests per performer.
The audience will be sitting on the visitors side utilizing social distancing and masks.
Temps will be taken at the door.
Students need to report between 7:15 and 7:20. Concert begins at 7:30.
Students performing need to wear their masks when not performing.

Lady Bulldogs end their season with a 14-25, 24-26 loss to Mission Valley in the first round of sub-state action.

Senior Brock Lauer and sophomore Cooper Schroer qualified for the state cross country meet next Saturday, after placing 4th and 10th today at the Alma-Wabaunsee regional! Great job Bulldogs!

Congratulations to the football team who got a 48-0 win over Oxford last night. They will play at home next Thursday, hosting Dexter-Cedar Vale!

Today, the school district was notified by the Chase County Health Department that an individual at Chase County Elementary School is positive for COVID-19. As a result, we have started preparing for a modified quarantine. We are also in contact with the Chase County Health Department and will take the steps necessary to protect the health of our students and staff. In the case of a positive test, the individual will not be allowed to return to school until approved by the Health Department and district personnel.
All close contacts and their families have been notified, and those affected were sent home.
The symptoms of COVID-19 are similar to the regular seasonal influenza and include fever, coughing, and shortness of breath. Some have reported additional symptoms, such as a runny nose, sore throat, nausea, lethargy, lack of appetite, vomiting, and diarrhea. Individuals who need medical care should call their medical provider to report their illness prior to seeking care at a clinic, physician’s office, or hospital. Parents of students exhibiting flu-like symptoms or staff exhibiting flu-like symptoms are asked to contact a school nurse, local health authorities, or the Chase County Department of Health.

HS VB FAN UPDATE:
Saturday, Oct. 25 @ LYNDON: Substate Volleyball. Limit of 3 spectators per athlete. Wristbands will be sent home with the athletes to give to the spectators prior to Saturday. Spectators will still need to pay admission. Masks are required and please sit in the designated Chase County area. If you do not have a wristband, you will not be allowed to enter.

There will be a JH Boys Basketball parents meeting tomorrow at 5:45 following practice. It will be held in commons area!

JH volleyball girls went 3-0 this afternoon too! Congrats to those girls as well!

A 60-0 win for the JH football team Thursday, several cross county runners placing at the league meet, a 54-0 win for the high school football team last night and the high school volleyball team going 3-0 today, Chase County athletes are looking good! Proud of our Bulldogs!

The junior high team will be playing at NHHS at 3:00 pm. NO ONE WILL BE ALLOWED IN UNTIL 2:30. Spectators are limited to the 4 people who are listed on the spectator list. Masks and social distancing are required.

Friday, Oct. 16 @ HOME vs. Udall: Work has continued on the track. As a result, we CANNOT have chairs on the track tonight. You are encouraged to bring chairs and sit on the south hill or sit around the OUTSIDE of the track. You can walk on the track, but we need to keep it as clean as possible. League Tournament Play @ CENTRAL HEIGHTS: This is a location change. Only 2 fans per athlete will be allowed. Names will be submitted to Central Heights. Masks are required. At this time, they are planning to have a concession stand, but that is subject to change. Action will be live streamed.
