The water in Strong City is on. The water in CWF is on and they are flushing the system. It will take sometime to get the lines in CWF pressurized so please do not turn on your water.
With concerns about enough water pressure in the lines, school is cancelled for today (Thursday, Oct. 26). We will not have school tomorrow.
I apologize for the late notice. This is a constantly changing situation.

CCES Red Ribbon Week:
Tomorrow students can either do career day (what they want to be when they grow up) or wear red!

Thank you to the Elmdale Church for letting Voices be part of their Harvest Home celebration!

The water is TENTATIVELY projected to be turned on as follows:
Strong City 8 PM tonight
Cottonwood Falls 8 AM tomorrow
Rural water district - after that
Based on the projections, the schools will have a two-hour delay to make sure the repairs hold. School will start at 10 am Thursday, Oct. 26. Buses will run two hours later. No breakfast will be served. No morning preschool.
Please remember that Strong City, Cottonwood Falls, and Rural Water District #1 will be under a boil warning. Please send your student to school with a full water bottle (if possible). We will have some bottled water available.

Football practice will be at 3:30 today in the south gym. Plan accordingly and come in through the weight room door. Coach Budke
