JH Track Results from Flinthills:
The 8th grade girls placed first overall with 128 points.


Come out and check out the art projects before attending the 7-12 Spring Concert on Friday, May 3. The art displays open at 6:00 pm, and the music concert starts at 7 pm.



The JH track meet at West Franklin tomorrow (Tuesday, April 30) has changed start time. The meet will now start at noon.
Softball parents night will be this evening between games vs. Lebo.
Three students from the CCHS Band performed at the State Music Festival today at Tabor College. Valiera Soria received a 1 rating, and Connor Jahnke and Kailyn Budke received a 2. Great job everyone!

Today Lisa Lauer's class joined Katie Mann's class. The first graders read the informational paragraphs they've been working on and shared information about the unique features of many animals they've learned about. The third graders were a great audience that asked thoughtful questions and encouraged the younger kids as they read.

On Monday evening at the CCJSHS annual Honors Banquet, over $62,000 was given to the 2024 senior students. In addition, the National Honor Society and Quill & Scroll organizations held their induction ceremonies. It was an amazing event recognizing the academic excellence of our students! Thank you to all who donated their time and efforts to making this event possible and to all of the donors for your generosity to Chase County’s youth. We can think of no better way to support these deserving young people than by contributing to their future.
HS Softball Update:
We have added a JV softball game on Tuesday, May 7 at 4:00pm at Lebo.
The CCJSHS art students are working hard to complete projects and to be ready for the art display they always set up at the Spring Concert on Friday, May 3. It is a great time to come out and learn about Fine Arts at CCJSHS. The art display opens at 6 pm and the concert is at 7 pm.

Softball and Baseball Time Changes for next week:
vs. Lebo here on Monday, April 29 - Baseball & Softball both will start at 3:00
vs. Osage City here on Thursday, May 2 - Baseball will start at 3:00 and Softball will stay at 4:00 for the start time.
SB/BsB Update:
The home games vs. Mission Valley on Thursday, April 25 will start at 3:00 pm due to lighting issues at the baseball field.
Speed Camp is open to all 4th-12th graders. Sessions are Monday and Wednesday morning at 6:45 am. It's a great opportunity for your child to boost their speed and agility skills. See you there! Coach Budke
JJ Lusby, Lexi Price, Story Moss, Bianca Jones, and Wren Burton all participated in the ESU JH Music Festival this morning. All 5 students received a 1 rating on their solos!

The 4x400 relay of Wyatt Griffin, Luke Budke, Brock Griffin and Tag Groh qualified for the Sunflower Showdown as part of the KU Relays based on their time today. They will run tomorrow.
