From the Chase Co. Rec: Youth football will be having sign up and equipment fitting on Monday, August 15 at 5 pm in the parking lot of Ron Mayo field. The total price for football is $40. The 7-12 All Sports Athletic Meeting is Thursday @ 6 pm. Everyone will need to enter through the main doors at CCJSHS in order to sign in. Students must sign in for documentation on concussion video. Please check with Brenda Wessel upon entry to make sure that all physical and athletic paperwork are complete. Students then need to report to the auditorium for the concussion video. Parents report to the following: HS Football - Mr. Budke's Room JH Football - Mr. Johnson's room Cross Country - Mrs. Budke's room HS Volleyball - Mrs. Hansford's room JH Volleyball - North Gym Cheer - Mrs. Koch's room @ 5:30 pm so parents can attend other sport meetings.

Calendar Correction: We will have school on Feb. 6. The calendar states there is no school on Feb. 6, 2023, but we WILL HAVE school on that date.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, USD 284 is in need of a full-time bus driver for the Cedar Point route. Applicants must have a CDL with an S and P endorsement. If you are interested and do not have the CDL and/or endorsements, the district will help. If interested, please contact Cindy @ cindyk@usd284.org. Benefits included. EOE

We still have quite a few enrollment packets that need to be picked up. The packets are available in the CCJSHS front door entryway 7 am to 6 pm. Please pick your family packet up before coming in to enrollment. It helps to have the paperwork filled out before enrollment. Enrollment is tomorrow (Tuesday) 3-7 pm and Wednesday 7-11 am. Bring all your completed paperwork. Please bring any completed physicals to enrollment. Please double check that the physicals are signed correctly. 7-12 students who plan to participate in fall sports must have completed physicals (including signatures) prior to practicing starting Monday, Aug. 15.

Summer Weight Schedule for Thursday 7/21/22. 7th-12th Grade meet at 7am at Hs to lift. 4th-6th(22-23 school year) meet 7th-12th at Cottonwood Falls Pool 8am. We will be doing water workout. Thank you!

Reminder- Middle school boys basketball camp - July 14-16. Grades 5-8. 2022-23 School Year Thursday and Friday camp will be from 5-7pm at the high school. Saturday the 16th will be a scrimmage day in Canton Galva (schedule to come). Coach Happy

We are starting to get questions on the following: School starts Aug. 18, and enrollment is Aug. 9 & 10. School calendars will be available in early August.

Junior High Football Camp will be held July 11-14 from 7:00AM to 9:00 AM. We will start at the Jr/Sr High School Weight Room (tennis court) at 7:00 AM. We will lift then run to the football field as a team for skills training and team building. Camp will conclude at 9:00 AM at the football field. Please wear a red shirt for the first day of camp. If you need to make arrangements for swim lessons, contact Coach Barrett 620-481-1325. If you will be entering 7th or 8th grade 2022-23 school year and have any interest in football, please plan to attend. We want you on the team!
