The softball team will play Monday, May 15 @ Flinthills HS at 4 pm vs. Yates Center. Please notice that the locations of the games vary. This is noted on the bracket.

State Forensics Champs results: Ashlee Williams competed in Hum. Solo and Impromptu. Paden Jahnke made it through semis and placed 3rd in extemp and 4th in Impromptu. The TWO of them placed 16th as a team out of 27 teams.
Forensics State Festival Results:
Ozzy got a 1 (extemp speaking) and Daysha got a 1 on "Daddy's Little Girl" (prose) and a 2 on "Dear Future Generations" (poetry).

Sports Physicals will be offered again this month for the 2023-2024 school year at the Chase County Family Health Center on May 18th starting at 3:00 pm and May 24th starting at 5:30. Contact Amber at schlupa@usd284.org to schedule! Cost is $10, no insurance accepted. ALL physical forms must be picked up at CCJSHS. Forms will be sent home with all 6th graders today,

Due to the weather forecast, the Herington track meet has been moved to a 2:00 pm start time today (May 4, 2023). Please help us spread the word!
We have double checked and verified that the baseball and softball games start at 4:30 pm tonight in Lebo.

HS Regional Track will be in Lyndon on Thursday, May 18, starting at 3 pm. This is a date change. Track Calendar Change:

The high school baseball team will play Mission Valley on Monday, May 8 at Soden's Grove in Emporia. This is a calendar addition.
HS Track Calendar Change:
The high school league track meet scheduled for May 12 will be held at Council Grove. Start time will be 3:00. This is a time and location change.
The District SITE Council meeting will be tonight at 6 pm in the CCJSHS commons area. This is a location change.
Reminder tonight's make-up baseball game against West Franklin will be played in Emporia at Trusler Sports Complex. Game will start at 6PM!
